World Online Championship
WBF planned in cooperation with Funbridge, BBO and CBO (China Bridge Online) to arrange the first World Online Championship in 2020. An individual competition where the player play with/against bridge robots. The qualification would have started in march 2020 and ended in august.
500 players (max) would have gone to a 3 day final. The travelling and hotel cost paid by WBF. The prize money was the highest ever in bridge, total 500 000 USD and 100 000 to the winner.
The Championship has been cancelled until further notice.
